The House that She Built! author Mollie Elkman

Women in Construction Week: PWB presents Mollie Elkman as their guest speaker at their Empowerment Luncheon on April 1st. Elkman is the author of the best selling Children’s Book, The House that She Built! This book was inspired by the team of real women who came together from around the country to build a one-of-a-kind home.

Driven by the fact that less than 3% of the onsite workforce in housing is women, the goal was to highlight and utilize skilled tradeswomen and women owned companies for all stages of the project.
