Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI) |
|
Beginning January 1, 2023, most Colorado workers (full-time, part-time and seasonal) will see a new deduction on their paychecks of 0.45% of their wages. This small deduction covers your contribution to Colorado’s new, voter-approved Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI). You will be able to apply for FAMLI benefits ? like paid leave for up to 12 weeks when you or a family member experiences a qualifying health issue ? starting in January 2024. HBA of Metro Denver, Members Committed to Supporting Residents and Local Businesses Still Rebuilding from Marshall Fire
The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver released the following statement on the one-year anniversary of the Marshall Fire: “On the one-year anniversary of the Marshall Fire, the members and staff of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver would like to share our heartfelt appreciation for all the residents, local businesses, first responders, public servants and others who were impacted by this devastating fire and are now focused on rebuilding their homes, businesses and communities. We recognize the substantial cost this fire has placed on many of our fellow Coloradans and the communities of Louisville, Superior and Boulder County. We remain committed to supporting the rebuilding efforts so that everyone who wants to rebuild their home or business can have a safe, reliable and comfortable place to call home or to work. The HBA and its members over the past year have volunteered to provide resources for rebuilding?including a free seminar series to provide expert information from HBA members about all facets of the rebuilding process, rebates and discounts on building products to help reduce costs, and continually updated consumer information to help protect consumers and prevent scams and fraud. Over the next year and beyond, the HBA will continue its collaboration with residents, local and state government officials, and all others involved in rebuilding to ensure that the communities impacted by the Marshall Fire are able to build back stronger. And we ask that anyone still trying to understand the rebuilding process to utilize the resources provided by the HBA so that they can hopefully reduce the stress and strain caused by this disaster.” |
