HBA Associate Member Spotlight - ClimateMaster 

“My name is Garett Wedow and I proudly represent an American made product line that is the most energy efficient way possible to heat and cool your space. That company is ClimateMaster Inc. We build geothermal products that heat and cool your space whether it is for residential or commercial applications. What is a geothermal heat pump system? The simple answer is, it’s green. Geothermal heating and cooling systems combine sun, earth, and water using proven technology. According to the EPA, geothermal heat pump technology creates the most energy efficient, environmentally clean, and cost-effective space conditioning systems in the market. This technology is 400% more efficient than conventional HVAC systems and can provide up to 70% lower heating and cooling bills.

Geothermal heat pump systems are an innovative solution toward helping Colorado achieve their goal of 100% decarbonization by 2035. For example, the monumental impact of the current use of these systems in the US is equivalent to saving 21.5 million barrels of crude oil per year. It is a step forward to freedom from fossil fuels. Another great benefit is these systems have a rated life expectancy of 24 years on the equipment and 50 plus years on the ground loops according to ASHREA. That is double the life compared to conventional HVAC.

Now, with the Inflation Reduction ACT (IRA), today is the time to act. You can get up to 30% back on residential and 50% back on commercial applications for the entire installation. That is huge savings. We are working together to help build a better future.”

Celebrate Professional Women in Building Week THIS Week! (September 11-15!) 

PWB Week is about acknowledging women’s contributions to the home building industry and inspiring the next generation of women building professionals. Some highlights this year include:

• Live Shop Talks: PWB leaders will host a virtual discussion on preparing the next generation of women to succeed in the industry on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. ET, industry experts will talk about what it takes to become a home building entrepreneur. Learn more and register for the Shop Talks.
